My practice explores ideas of communication, cognition, and confusion. I employ strategies meant to scrutinize their effects on the natural (and not so natural) world. I reference common visual and social themes and investigate intended or inadvertent messages that may be construed. I am interested in the extent to which the understanding of our contemporary environments and stimuli may shape each culture, neighborhood and life independently.
